The Pigato from Rocche Del Gatto is a true compendium of sea and balsamic herbs, capable of evoking emotions when put to the test of time. Pure and personal expressions, nonconforming to market logic and thus so beautiful and unpredictable: this is the creed followed by Fausto De Andreis, a true anarchist of wine, and a liquid singer-songwriter of a Liguria that has much to tell. Here in the province of Albenga, Fausto gives space to local indigenous grape varieties, primarily Pigato and Vermentino, allowing them to express and gather the moods of the place without intervening with chemicals or synthetic substances. Each bottle tells a different story, which deserves to be explored without haste.

The white Pigato comes from pure grapes of the same name, with vines grown entirely in the province of Albenga. In the 7 hectares of vineyard, cultivated in the most natural way possible, the grapes are strictly hand-picked and brought to the winery where the path of non-intervention, or rather non-forced intervention, continues. Fermentations occur only through the intervention of indigenous yeasts.and must that is macerated in contact with the skins for periods ranging from seven days to three weeks in order to obtain a true orange wine.

The Pigato wine presents itself in the glass with an enchanting golden yellow that shifts towards amber.
