Greco 'Aurora' Terre Stregate 2022

The Campania 'Aurora' white wine from the Terre Stregate winery is a veritable hymn to freshness. Indeed, from the very first sips, one realises how refreshing this wine is on the palate, guaranteeing very good drinkability, a characteristic that, together with its extreme versatility in the kitchen, makes it truly irreplaceable during summer dinners. A label that encompasses a whirlwind of varied aromas on the nose, which always dance with order and linearity, never overlapping in a chaotic manner. A product that deserves a place in the cellar of every white wine enthusiast from southern Italy.

Aurora' is a pure Greco whose grapes are cultivated with the guyot system in vineyards located about 450 metres above sea level near the Guardia hills. We are within a terroir composed of limestone and clay subsoil. The must obtained from pressing the grapes ferments in stainless steel containers at a controlled temperature. Again in steel vats, the wine is then left to mature for between 6 and 8 months, reaching a maturation that reveals a marine and Mediterranean soul.

The Greco "Aurora" reveals itself to the eye with a straw-yellow colour, characterised by light greenish highlights on the rim. On the nose, it offers a range of complex aromas, starting with more floral notes before arriving at fruity touches and a finish from which a slight marine and brackish touch emerges. In the mouth, it is full-bodied, juicy and drinkable, with a subtle and delicate bite that makes its way onto the palate thanks to a fresh, savoury and mineral texture. A bottle that strikes for its excellent quality/price ratio and immerses us, sip after sip, in the wonderful territory of Beneventano.
