The Governo is the "base" wine of Castellare di Castellina, a pure Sangiovese produced by the traditional method of Governo, where the after the first fermentation is added to raisin grapes left to provide more structure and softness to a vintage wine, of course light and fresh. A wine which allows us to deepen an ancient method, a story full of charm that comes from the Tuscan tradition and the motto "no lilleri not lallera", or "do not do anything without money".

A wine that embodies the gentle wisdom applies in a peasant society based on barter; a society where the insights were a necessity on the agenda. And the government is born in this context, is an answer to the shortage of lilleri.
