Carmenere Più by Inama wine comes from the Colli Berici area, purchased from the cellar in the second half of the nineties. The vinification of grapes from Colli Berici marked the start of production of red wine for the cellar Inama, hitherto known mainly for the production of Soave. Located a few kilometers south-east from the hills of Soave, in the southern part of the province of Vicenza, the hill system of Colli Berici could not be more different from the Soave Classico. Generated by an ancient bradisism, is marked in the south-west by a long ridge of limestone covered with regular clay. Here the rainfall is lower and the summers are hotter. All these characteristics are ideal for the production of red wines, particularly the Carmenere, a grape in the area for over a century, can give rise to a wine that is unique in its kind. The vine is an ancient variety of Bordeaux origin, moved to the north-east of Italy by emigrants on their return from work in France, after the second half of the nineteenth century. The characteristics of this wine are very different from other wines made from Bordeaux varieties: in fact, on Colli Berici, Carmenere is capable of producing wines with a great aromatic scents. Like This Carmenere Più, a wine of strong character and the intense hints, giving it a unique elegance.
