Giving rise to Burdese are the Tunno vineyards, planted on a deep, clay-rich portion of the soil, and Maroccoli, located behind Lake Arancio and rich in organic matter, in the sunny Agrigento plain of Menfi, about 150 meters above sea level. After harvesting, the grapes are destemmed and crushed, and then go into steel tanks for fermentation with 21 days of \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e\u003cspan data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"\u003emaceration on the skins\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cspan data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"\u003e. Maturation takes place in new Allier oak barrels for 14 months, preceded by the conduct of malolactic fermentation in wood and steel.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"\u003ePlaneta \"Burdese\" shows itself with its very intense, dense, thick ruby red. The aromas coming from the glass have the \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e\u003cspan data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"\u003edeepness of red fruit\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cspan data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"\u003e, above all blackberries and black cherries, with the intensity and penetrating notes of tertiary scents: leather and tobacco in primis. In the mouth, it is a jolt of energy and strength of a well-structured body, in which the play of tannins is well present but unravels on a delicate carpet.
